27Wolf Photography specializes in Pets & Families, Nature, and Fire Services photographic shoots.
We are based in Jackson, Tennessee and have been serving happy clients for over 30 years.

Pets & Families

A large portion of my life revolves around dogs (especially Siberian Huskies). I personally have four wonderful fur-babies that are pretty much my ‘children’. I am also a volunteer for Adopt-A-Husky Minnesota and No Dog Left Behind Canine Rescue. In recent years, I have found that there are so many people that want family photos of them and their dogs! Whether it be for a Christmas card or to preserve some loving memories of an aging pet, having the opportunity to photograph others dogs and to capture each pets’ unique personality is truly rewarding. I also volunteer my time to take photos of the foster dogs in rescue to help them get noticed and adopted.

Nature

The many wonders of the natural world outside are astounding and beautiful. I am always keeping an eye out for wildlife, whether that be a chipmunk, a snapping turtle or a butterfly. Then sometimes just the right angle of the light bringing out bold colors in a flower is so breathtaking, it is a must to take a photo! A few years back I got so enthralled with all the birds I could see just even in my own yard at the bird feeder. I challenged myself to get a wide range of different birds in my pictures, and it was so fun and rewarding. Although I must admit that my favorite birds are Bald Eagles and Cardinals.

Fire Services

I have had the honor and pleasure to be involved with our local fire department for the past 17 years, as my husband is a firefighter. Many years ago, it started with asking the chief if I could come and do photos during the house burn trainings. Then, the chief started asking me if I was going to be available for the house burns! Then when the department started running their own fire school, my husband as the training officer was the lead instructor for the Academy. Somewhere along the way, I was asked to come and take a few pictures of some assorted training. Each successive Fire Academy I became more and more involved to where now they have the “photographer” included on the schedule for the hands-on training classes. I absolutely love volunteering my time to document the journey of all these recruits as they spend 6 months of their lives learning to be a firefighter. It is an incredible journey, and it is so rewarding to hear them thank me for being there to take the photos.
